Cookies and similar technologies (like your browser's local storage) let a website remember things between visits. ThaiThuk keeps them to a minimum and only turns on advertising cookies if you agree.

Strictly necessary (always on)

A small amount of local storage on your own device remembers your theme (light/dark), your cookie choice, and your quiz progress and any forum posts. This never leaves your device and isn't sent to a server. The site can't work sensibly without it, so it's always on.

Advertising

Ads are served by Google AdSense, which may set cookies (including the DoubleClick/DART cookie) to display and measure ads and to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. If you are in the EEA or UK, Google's certified consent tool (CMP) asks for your choice about ad personalisation, and personalised ads are only shown with your consent; without it you may see non-personalised ads. You can review how Google uses cookies in advertising, reopen your choices via Ad settings, and opt out via Google Ads Settings.

Analytics

We do not currently run third-party analytics or tracking pixels. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Managing your choices

You're in control. Open Ad settings at any time to review or change your ad-personalisation choices. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser's settings, and most browsers let you block cookies entirely.
